The Order of Physiotherapists is recruiting for a post of Advisor for the Office of Studies and Planning.

The Portuguese Order of Physiotherapists and the National School of Public Health at NOVA University Lisbon (ENSP NOVA) have signed a cooperation protocol with a view to jointly developing research projects and other actions of recognised benefit and interest to both institutions.

The Order of Physiotherapists, represented by Board Member Afonso Neutel, took part on Wednesday in a class for first-year physiotherapy students at the Jean Piaget Higher School of Health in Vila Nova de Gaia.

The Order of Physiotherapists informs that on the days granted as time off - 26 December 2023 and 2 January 2024 - the administrative services and member services will be operating normally, according to the timetable that can be consulted at Contacts - Order of Physiotherapists.

The amendment to the Statute of the Order of Physiotherapists, promulgated by the President of the Republic on 1 December, was published today in the Official Gazette.

President António Lopes attended the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, a special event attended by Maria António Castro and Nuno Morais.

On 30 November 2023, the National Council of Professional Orders (CNOP) was heard at a hearing at the Presidency of the Republic, and the professional orders that are not part of CNOP were also invited to attend.

A two-day visit to Portugal by the President of World Physiotherapy (WP), Michel Landry, came to an end on Tuesday.

The newly elected President of the organisation that represents more than 600,000 physiotherapists worldwide through its 127 members, including the Order of Physiotherapists, was received on 27 and 28 November.

The Order of Physiotherapists, represented by António Lopes, was present at the 17th National Congress of Physiotherapy, organised by the Spanish Association of Physiotherapists, which took place on 24 and 25 November, with more than 700 participants.
