The Order of Physiotherapists is affiliated to several international organisations, which underlines both the profession's own identity and autonomy and its integration into a global network of contacts and resources. Since January 2023, the Order has been a member of World Physiotherapy, the Europe Region of World Physiotherapy and EurHeCA - European Health Professionals' Competent Authorities. These affiliations allow the Order to participate in global discussions about practices, policies and developments in Physiotherapy, as well as being part of specialised groups that promote collaboration and the advancement of the profession at an international level.
