Among the various factors influencing the development of Type II Diabetes, the most evident is the urbanised lifestyle, which includes an unhealthy diet and sedentary behaviour. Recent studies show that the adoption of a healthier lifestyle and the practice of physical activity can postpone or even prevent its appearance.
