class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Today, 17 September, is World Patient Safety Day.<\/p><p>The Portuguese Order of Physiotherapists associates itself to this initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO) and considering that Patient Safety is a priority for Physiotherapists, recommends the consultation of the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dgs.pt\/qualidade-e-seguranca\/seguranca-dos-doentes\/plano-nacional-para-a-seguranca-dos-doentes-2021-2026.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Plan for Patient Safety 2021 -2026 (PNSD 2021 -2026)<\/a><\/span>adopted pursuant to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dre.pt\/application\/conteudo\/171891094\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Order No. 9390\/2021 of 24 September<\/a><\/span>.<\/p><p>The PNSD 2021-2026 is based on five main pillars, with their respective strategic objectives, plus the respective actions and targets. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Pillar 1: Safety culture;\u00a0<\/li><li>Pillar 2: Leadership and governance;<\/li><li>Pillar 3: Communication;<\/li><li>Pillar 4: Prevention and management of patient safety incidents;\u00a0<\/li><li>Pillar 5: Safe practices in safe environments.<\/li><\/ul><p>For more information on the PNSD 2021-2016, please consult the\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: 2022 - the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dgs.pt\/em-destaque\/dia-mundial-da-seguranca-do-doente-2022.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Safety in the use of Medication<\/a><\/span> -, and the dissemination of the National Plan for Patient Safety 2021-2026 and skills development regarding the five pillars, the Order will promote a conference <em>online<\/em> addressed to physiotherapists, dedicated to the thematic of incident notification (platform <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dgs.pt\/formulario-notifica.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NOTIFY<\/a><\/span>).
